My Employer has reduced my salary, what should I do?

The Employee needs to request in writing to the Employer, if there is solution then he needs to submit an application typed by a typing centre to the Labour Relation Officer mentioning the cause(s) of the dispute. The legal advisor would take a decision as per the work contract.

What are the documents required to start a new company?

The following documents are required to start a new company

  • Copy of Firm Card

A typed complaint application will be submitted to the Labour Relation Officer mentioning the cause(s) of the disputes. They would then give an appointment & call the employer and employee in MOL where the legal advisor would discuss and try to settle the dispute.

Will there be a ban on my passport if I break the contract with my current employer?

The bans for 6 months are only in the system of the ministry. If you are breaking your contract you are likely to face a ban depending on the conditions mentioned on your work contract.

No, the company is supposed to pay the amount for your visa and labour card. However, if this clause is not mentioned in your contract you are bound to abide by it.

What is the minimum and maximum period of a contract the company can make with the employee?

The contract can be Limited contract or Unlimited contract. This varies from company to company? However the limited contract cannot be more than 3 years.

In case a worker has permanent injury while at work what is the compensation amount the company will be required to provide the employee?

The amount would be paid by the insurance company. If there is no insurance then the company would pay the compensation for it.
